We’re excited to feature Brian Kinnear, Treasurer and Capital Trees Board Member. Brian has been involved with Capital Trees in one way or another for a few years. He’s gotten his hands in the dirt during a volunteer workday with his previous employer and has served on multiple committees before joining the Board. Brian has spent many years as a city-dweller, giving him a keen perspective on just how important greenspaces are for those seeking respite from the fast-paced life in the city.
Starting in March of 2025, Capital Trees will celebrate 15 years of cultivating vibrant public landscapes. This anniversary symbolizes resilience, dedication, expertise, and a shared commitment to building a legacy that heals the soil, the soul, and communities. With 15 years behind us, we celebrate the past and make a promise for the future: to lead, inspire, and collaborate as we continue to work for a greener, healthier tomorrow. Fifteen years ago, we did more than plant trees — we sowed the seeds for what would become an essential path to creating a thriving Richmond. Follow along at Capital Trees turns 15!
Thank you to our 15th Anniversary Event Sponsors!
