The Low Line is Calling!
We’ve got runners and walkers and all the best dogs, we’ve got cars and trains and boats and buses, we’ve got birds and bees and soon will have butterflies, we’ve got Main Street Realty with their coffee and donuts!
Best of all we have gardens that need spring-time attention!
And this is where YOU come in.
Please join us on Saturday, February 29 from 10 am to noon for a Community Work Day to wake up the Low Line for spring!
We’ll be doing our spring cleanup along the Low Line / Great Shiplock Park. Please gather about halfway along the Virginia Capital Trail headed west into town. Look for the donuts and coffee!
No experience is necessary. We’ll have experienced gardeners to help you. If you have a favorite pair of gloves and clippers, please bring them, but we’ll have all the tools you need.
A note on weather: We will work if it’s raining a little bit. If it’s pouring, we won’t. Feel free to call us that day to double check. If the weather is bad enough that we have to cancel the workday, we’ll update our voicemail accordingly. (804) 788 – 6450.
